Scholarships

Grayson Robertson
The Diamond Club is excited to announce Grayson Robertson will be attending The University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition to being accepted, Grayson has been awarded an academic scholarship. The Diamond Club, players and coaches would like to recognize Grayson’s academic excellence, as well as his gift to the community through many hours of community service and volunteerism. Grayson and his parents are vital members of Bulldog baseball and have been during his four years at Magnolia High School. Although he will be missed next year, the baseball program wishes him the very best in the future and looks forward to the many great contributions he will have to our society. The Diamond Club is honored to have such a fine young man in our program.

Alec Hall
Alec Hall is very pleased to be accepted to Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with an academic scholarship and offered a starting roster position on their baseball team by their Head Coach, James Shelton. Southwestern is a NCAA Division III university and is a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Alec visited the university and with the baseball coaches and was very impressed with the academic standards and the modern fully equipped baseball facilities. Southwestern is the oldest school in Texas established in 1840.
Alec was scouted while playing for the Houston Heat Black this past summer During the fall of 2009 Alec played for the Houston Metro Scout League coached by Jay Bergman retired head coach and 21 year veteran from Central Florida University. While playing for Bergman Alec was recruited by Southwestern's Assistant Coach, Kyle Shipp. .
Alec is looking forward to attending Southwestern University, pursuing a degree in Pre Med and becoming a Pirate in the 2011 baseball season.
